Hi all,
Looking for help with this issue I’ve been having for a few days. On a few of the parts in the assembly that I’m trying to render with KeyShot 2024.1 Educational Edition, I’m using a Toon material with a contour so that the part is outlined. This looks fantastic in the real-time render, but I can’t seem to get the output render options and settings correct. These outlines are not showing up in my output at all. I’m trying to render into a PSD file with transparency. I’ve set the resolution to 7680 x 5760 with a print size of 12.8 x 9.6 at 600 DPI. In the options pane, I’ve selected the render engine “Inherit from real-time view,” “Use Real-time CPU Usage,” and “Custom Control.” I’ve set samples to 128, Ray Bounces to 20, ani aliasing quality and shadow quality to 1, pixel filter size to 1.5, caustics quality to 10, sharp shadows, and global illumination chache. I’d really appreciate some help in figuring out how to get the output to look more like my real time render. Thanks!
The render method “custom control” will always create different output as the realtime render port.
To get the same result, you have to use “max samples” or “max time”
